Chris began his suspension journey as a suspension tech in 2013, racing the enduro circuit and nerding out on the intricacies of improving ride quality and reliability of common components from Fox, Rochsox, and others. Later Chris ran a national suspension service center that catered to riders and shops across the country. Chris ensured staff was trained up effectively and that 3000+ annual repairs were completed on time and with the utmost quality. in 2019 Chris took a break from the outdoor industry, and became Operations Director for a health and wellness company and expanded his business knowledge that led him to co-found SO and have a greater impact on the MTB community through suspension
Shay Rubino is a bicycle industry veteran with over 15 years experience as a master mechanic and suspension technician. Most recently Shay ran the mountain bike suspension service department at The Pro’s Closet, creating and managing service and sales protocol for thousands of services annually. Born and raised in Colorado, Shay is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys all the activities this beautiful state has to offer from all forms of biking to rock climbing and snowboarding.
